Kiedy ukazał się cały album tych (myślę, że nieletnich) zdolniachów z LA, odetchnęłam z ulgą, że singiel nie był tylko wpadającą w ucho podpuchą. Z wielką satysfakcją mogę napisać, że to jeden z najlepszych albumów tego roku. Foster the People (trochę na siłę) porównywani są z MGMT, co moim zdaniem można skomentować tylko w jeden sposób - ten hipsterski duet, słuchając "Torches", rwie sobie włosy z głowy w odruchu zazdrości. Niezwykle charyzmatyczny, obdarzony charakterystycznym wokalem lider kapeli Mark Foster wśród swoich muzycznych idoli wymienia Damona Albarna i choć ta płyta niewiele ma wspólnego z Blur czy Gorillaz, to panów zdecydowanie łączy eklektyczny i niczym nieograniczony sposób patrzenia na muzykę. Każdy utwór na tym krążku jest inny i każdy mógłby być singlem. Jak dobrze, że w zalewie muzycznej kiepścizny nagle pojawiają się TACY debiutanci. Mus, szczególnie na wakacje!
